Paperwork and Steven Curtis Chapman

Well, it's been a while sense I have been able to sit down and update you all about the adoption.  I have been loaded down with all the paper work that is required to adopt from China :).  I am very proud to say.. I am almost done!!!  The home study is complete and I sent off a very important form this week to China.  So, hopefully we can begin our search for our child within the next two months. I will let you know when we begin our search.  We will need your prayers.
Last night Jerimy and I attended a Steven Curtis Chapman concert and served with his ministry Show Hope.  I would encourage you to check out the ministry at www.showhope.org.  Jerimy and I got to meet Geoff Moore (from Geoff Moore and the Distance) who is Steven Curtis Chapman's best friend and advocate for Orphans.  During the concert we handed out information to people who were interested in partnering with Show Hope.  We were able to connect with a couple of families who have adopted from China and even were surprised and blessed when a few ladies from DWC showed up to serve.  We also, met a man named David who works with the ministry and told us so many stories about China and The Chapman's journey.  If you haven't read the book "Choosing to SEE" by Beth Chapman, you have to read it!!!  David and Geoff shared with us all the stories in the book that were about them.  It was sweet to see how they are all just a big family and very down to earth.  We were so happy to give back to them as Steven Curtis Chapman and Show Hope have been a very important role in our adoption journey.  Steven and his family are such a beautiful example of Christianity.  I believe they are a family of integrity, faithfulness, and love.  Here is small glimpse of last night.  God bless.
