All Paperwork Complete!

The last few months on this Adoption Journey has been a time where we have seen the Lord move.  Last month (April) we had our fingerprints taken in LA on a Tuesday.  It was the week before Easter and we had SO much at the church going on.  The Department of Homeland security issued us a date and we had to be there on that date and time!  We were a little nervous about the process of getting there and making sure that we were on time.  We left on Monday night and spent the night near New Orleans.  We got to enjoy "Canes" and other yummy Louisiana treats :)  Our appointment was at 8am on Tuesday so we found the building we had to go to the night before.  When we woke up and headed to the Homeland Security office, it really wasn't as bad as we had imagined.  The people were kind and moved very quickly... we were maybe there 30 minutes.  This process of fingerprints was the last step in our paperwork trail.  We were very excited but were expecting the process to take a long time.  While we were in LA the DWC staff had their usual staff prayer time.  They prayed that our adoption process would be quick and the new normal for adoptions and that when people asked about our adoption we would have an encouraging story.  Well, I believe that God heard their prayers because 3 days after our appointment.. which happened to be Good Friday we go our I-800A form back!  It seemed like a miracle to me.  The I-800A form basically states that Jerimy and I are cleared from the USA to adopt.   We felt very blessed to get the form back so quickly!
I immediately put it in the mail to be certified and then after I got that back I sent it to TX to get authenticated.   I have gotten that back and now we will send that off to the agency to complete our Dossier.  The agency will be sending that to China soon!!  At this point in the journey we are praying and believing for the financial resources to keep the process moving forward.  Thank you all for your prayers and support!!
